Baked/Broiled Haddock Recipe for Haddock

Title: Baked/Broiled Haddock
by lilpixiblue
Type: Entree
Servings:
Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients: One lemon
1/2 - 1 whole stick of butter
1/8 cup of 4C or other finely ground breadcrumbs
1/4 - 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
Directions: Melt desired amount of butter and coat the bottom of a glass Pyrex casserole dish large enough to fit your fillet(s).

Squeeze whole lemon into the bottom of the dish as well.

Lay the fillet(s) on top then turn over and lightly sprinkle just a little bit of finely ground breadcrumbs such as 4C evenly but sparse.

Sprinkle the whole fillet evenly with a thin layer of Panko.

Bake on 350 for the first 15 minutes then pour out some of the lemon butter if desired and broil for the last 5 minutes until breadcrumbs are golden. Do not turn over during baking. Let the breadcrumbs make a nice golden crust.

Other Notes: This recipe is AMAZING & simple with any large flake fish such as Haddock, Cod, Pollock, Grouper, you name it. It never fails.
